Tuesdays and Thursdays @ 6PM starting on 9/12/17 and running for 6 weeks.

Its time to put the road bikes away and dust off those big nobby tires. The Cycling Formula and Cycle Life Studio are teaming up to bring an Adventure-based training series to you this Fall. We will be focused on in-studio cyclocross style trainer workouts on Tuesdays with Mike Moraites, and hitting the great outdoors for off-road riding and CX skills sessions on Thursdays, led by Cycling Formula Coach, Matt Curbeau. Fall Adventure Series

Presented by Cycle Life Studio and The Cycling Formula

When: Tuesday and Thursdays at 6PM beginning on September 12th, 2017. This session will be run for 6 weeks.

Where: Cycle Life - 242 Bedford St, Whitman, MA 02382 (781) 524-1529 Cost: $195 for 6 weeks. (12 sessions) or $20 per session

Session Details:

  • Tuesdays
    • In-Studio cyclocross inspired trainer sessions with Mike Moraites of Cycle Life. Whether you are looking to develop cyclocross specific strength or simply switching it up from the normal road inspired workouts, this will add to your versatility on the bike.
  • Thursdays
    • Matt Curbeau, of The Cycling Formula, will be leading an outdoor ride that will include both cyclocross skills practice, as well as adventure/gravel inspired rides that will take you off the roads and onto the trails. Each Tuesday the theme for that week's Thursday ride will be announced, in order for participants to properly prepare.

What to Bring:

  • On Thursdays bring proper clothing for the forecasted weather that evening (ie. If its cold, dress warmly!). If the weather is not suitable for outdoor riding, an indoor trainer session will be substituted. The benefits of riding out of a great place like Cycle Life.
  • When the daylight subsides from us and it becomes dark at 6pm, please come with a front headlamp and rear blinking light. There is a lot of fun to be had even when the sun goes down!
  • HELMET!!
  • Tuesdays - proper bike for indoor riding. Must be able to attach to a Computrainer
  • Thursdays - proper bike for outdoor "adventure/cyclocross" style riding. This means a CX specific bike, mountain bike, fat bike, etc…Essentially any bike that is capable of handling off-road conditions.
  • Bike Shoes and Running Shoes
  • Bottle Cages with filled bottles
